Review – Thin Within 30 Day Blaster Part 1

As part of my 90 Day Life Makeover, I decided to sign up for Marna Thall’s 30 Day Blaster Challenge, which guarantees that you’ll drop a dress size in 30 days or she’ll give you your money back.

The program consists of a daily email, and as I’ve just signed up I’ll get my first email tomorrow. I’m not sure what time the emails come out; I’m in Europe, so if the first one arrives tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon my time, I’ll start the program on Friday so I have a new email first thing each morning.

The Sales Page

The subheadline says “Over the Next 30 Days I’ll Share With You One of the Fastest Ways To Lose Weight with These Quick Weight Loss Techniques So You Can Begin Losing Body Fat, Lose Water Weight, Stop Overeating and Become Thin From Within“. Marna’s main point is that naturally thin people have a very different attitude towards food than the rest of us, and she aims to help you think like a thin person.

She says “Are you ready to gain access into the world of the naturally thin to see quick weight loss results – without dieting, without exercising, without giving up the foods you love, and certainly without deprivation of any kind. And you get to do all of this, and lose one size in 30-Days Guaranteed.” Well, YEAH I guess I am! :)

She stresses that this is a non-diet program and there are some impressive testimonials on the page. This one in particular spoke to me: “I dropped two inches from my waist in the first month and all my clothes began to fit me better. I don’t even know how much I weigh because it doesn’t matter. All that matters is the image I have in my head. I eat what I want, when I want and exercise when I feel like it. Quite frankly, I love myself and the freedom I have with my thoughts.” Social proof is very powerful.

Marna has a very sensible disclaimer, right bang in the center of the page in a larger font that the rest of the sales page, that made a refreshing change. There are 3 bonuses: 2 months free access t her ThinWithinU membership site, an e-report called “How to Avoid the Top 5 Weight Loss Mistakes” and an audio download “How to End Emotional Eating For Once and For All”.

Purchasing is handled through the mcssl shopping cart and you have to provide your name, address and phone number, even though it’s a digital download. You can buy using a credit card or Paypal and before you can confirm your order, you have to answer the question “Tell Us The #1 Struggle You’ve Had With Weight Loss” or the order won’t go through!

After payment, you’re taken to the sign-up page for the membership site, where you have to provide a credit card or Paypal details. The membership is $19.95 a month after the first 2 free months. If you’re not sure if you’ll want to continue, my tip would be to use Paypal because it’s extremely easy to cancel a subscription. I also got the other two bonus downloads.

After setting up my subscription, I could log straight into ThinWithinU and I also received an email from Marna telling me what the membership site contains.

The membership contains audios for download, so you can put them on to an mp3 player if you want, articles on various aspects of emotional eating and weight loss, a “6 Phase Intensive” and a forum. There are also regular (monthly, I think) teleclasses which you can attend live, or listen to the recordings later.

The membership site isn’t the best-designed I’ve ever seen, and the forum is a bit clunky, but it’s clearly laid out and there’s a welcome audio to tell you what to expect and where to start.

I’ll let you know how my first day goes :)
